New identity concept for an artisan bakery start up
Breadcraft are a new start up artisan bakery and bread shop which will be based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. They offer hand made breads made from genuine ingredients that follow traditional and authentic processes. This is something different from what is currently found on the high street.
The Challenge
Tasked with coming up with an identity that fit with the authentic ideals of Breadcraft, I created a modern take on breadmaking and avoided the image of a Baker in white, which was communicated by the client as clichéd and something they definately did not want.
The Result
The identity is an icon created using the simplest form lines and shapes to reflect the authentic processes involved in breadmaking. The font adds an artisan feel, and the colours further enhance a modern take on the Bread Shop.
